BOOKING FLOW HELP

Booking flow consists of 5 steps:

Once you have paid for the booking you will receive a waybill number. Using your waybill number - you can go to the port anytime during the booking validity period - and check in.

PRICING

Freight Charge:
The price for the freight vehicle.

BAF:
Bunker Adjustment Fuel/Fuel surcharge. Reviewed every month against the cost of low sulphur fuel.

Passengers:
2 passenger is already included in the price.

Passenger Charges:
£19 and €25 per person.

Travel Wallet Terms & Conditions

The CARRIER and the SHIPPER (both as herein defined) do hereby agree as follows:
By using the Travel Wallet service provided by the Carrier, the Shipper is deemed to have accepted these “Travel Wallet Terms & Conditions” as part of the Shipper’s Contract with the Carrier.

1. GENERAL

1.1. These terms and conditions should be read in conjunction with the main P&O Ferries Freight Terms and Conditions of Carriage to form the Contract and unless otherwise specified all definitions used in these terms and conditions shall have the same meaning.

1.2. The “Travel Wallet” means the service provided by the Carrier for the Shipper to upload relevant Shipper’s Documents (or other documents) in relation to the Units.

1.3. The “Travel Wallet Reference” means the reference number or bar code number that the Shipper will receive upon successful verification of Shipper’s Documents uploaded to the Travel Wallet.

1.4. The “Marks” means all designs, business names, literary works, service names, service marks, logos, trade names, trademarks and other intellectual property rights of whatsoever nature from time to time used by the Carrier.

1.5. The “Shipper’s Documents” includes all documents, reference numbers, declarations (customs, health etc), which may be required for the Cargo, unit or shipment, or the person accompanying the Cargo or unit.

2. SHIPPER’S WARRANTIES DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

2.1. The Shipper agrees, warrants and undertakes that they:

2.1.1. are responsible for all Shipper’s Documents, uploaded onto the Travel Wallet and will ensure that such Shipper’s Documents (or other documents) are kept current, valid and relevant for the shipment of the Units including meeting any governmental or regulatory requirements from time to time;

2.1.2. are authorised to upload the Shipper’s Documents to the Travel Wallet;

2.1.3. are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness and suitability of the Shipper’s Documents uploaded to the Travel Wallet;

2.1.4. agree that any additions or deletions required following the issuance of a Travel Wallet Reference will require a fresh Travel Wallet to be prepared and changes may only be made up to the point of check-in with the Carrier;

2.1.5. indemnify the Carrier in respect of all legal or financial consequences arising as a result of any incorrect Shipper’s Documents, declarations or other documents uploaded to the Travel Wallet and acknowledges that the relevant customs and border control authorities may reject any Shipper’s Documents at their absolute discretion;

2.1.6. will follow all of the Company’s rules, regulations and policies (including privacy policy) in relation to the Shipper’s Documents uploaded to the Travel Wallet;

2.1.7. will ensure printed copies of the Shipper’s Documents (or other documents) shall be held or provided upon request to the Carrier by the person accompanying the Units;

2.1.8. will continue to ensure all other relevant Shipper’s Documents which are not uploaded to the Travel Wallet will be provided by the person accompanying the Units as standard including, but not limited to, hazardous goods, health certificates, and all other entry/exit declarations; and

2.1.9. agree to any separate terms and conditions and other charges directly with any third party (including but not limited customs declarations via Cargoes) who may provide additional services linked to the Travel Wallet and further agree that the data uploaded to the Travel Wallet may be shared by the carrier with governmental departments and other affiliates of the carrier in accordance with the carrier’s standard privacy policy; and

2.1.10. agree to the sharing of any data between the Carrier, its affiliates (including but not limited to CNS and Cargoes), third parties and any authority in order to process the Travel Wallet data and obtain the Travel Wallet Reference.

3. CARRIER’S DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

3.1. The Carrier agrees and undertakes that they:

3.1.1. undertake to send all uploaded Shipper’s Documents to the Travel Wallet to the relevant customs/border control authority for verification and will return to the Shipper upon receipt from the authority the Travel Wallet Reference;

3.1.2. will treat all information and Shipper’s Documents uploaded to the Travel Wallet in accordance with the Carrier’s standard privacy policy; and

3.1.3. will check-in the Shipper using the Travel Wallet Reference unless such Travel Wallet Reference was de-activated by the Shipper prior to check-in.
